PAcT Art Grant 2026 — Grant Details & How to Apply
People Act for Tunisia is pleased to launch an open call for art projects with a strong connection to Tunisia, its heritage, and cultural identity, while embracing sustainability and community engagement. We are offering four grants, ranging from $2,000 to $20,000.
What We're Looking For
We invite proposals from artists, collectives, and cultural practitioners working across disciplines — visual arts, performance, music, crafts, design, or interdisciplinary practices — that:
- Engage deeply with Tunisian culture, history, and heritage
- Incorporate elements of sustainability, whether environmental, cultural, or social
- Meaningfully involve or benefit local communities
- Offer a longer-term impact or leave a lasting trace within the charity's mission
We believe in mutual enrichment — that support from PAcT should empower artists while also nurturing broader cultural and community development in Tunisia.
Grant Details
- Number of Grants: 4
- Grant Amounts: $2,000 – $20,000
- Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026 at 23:59 (Tunis time)
- Announcement of Selected Projects: September 15, 2026
Eligibility
- Open to Tunisian artists or those with a demonstrable link to Tunisia
- Projects can be new or in progress, but not completed by the submission deadline
- Individual and collaborative applications are welcome
Application Components
- Applicant Information: full name, email, phone number, website or social media links
- CV or Artistic Bio including relevant experience, exhibitions, and past projects
- Project Summary (max 300 words): brief overview of your project, its goals and vision
- Detailed Project Description (1–2 pages): artistic concept, objectives, relation to Tunisia, sustainability, and community
- Timeline: project development milestones — final delivery must be post-September 2026
- Budget Estimate: total cost, amount requested ($2,000–$20,000), and other funding sources
- Portfolio / Supporting Materials: 5–10 images of past work, links to videos or performances
- Community Engagement & Impact Statement (optional but encouraged)
- Reciprocity Proposal: how you plan to give back to PAcT
